On February 21, 2025, the Inaugural Meeting and Academic Exchange Conference of the New Materials and Structures Professional Committee of the Guangdong Highway Society was grandly held in Guangzhou. As a leading enterprise in the field of micro steel fiber materials in China, Mr. Liu Zhaoxiang, General Manager of Ganzhou Daye Metal Fiber Co., Ltd., was elected as a member of the first committee and participated in industry technical discussions and studies.

This meeting was hosted by the Guangdong Highway Society and undertaken by Guangdong Communication Planning & Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. Leaders such as Luo Qi, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, and Wang Qiang, Secretary General of the Society, as well as 119 committee member representatives attended the meeting. The meeting elected the first committee leadership body with Sun Xiangdong as the Chairman. Mr. Liu Zhaoxiang, General Manager of our company, was selected as a member of the committee as an expert representative in the field of new materials, marking the industry's high recognition of Ganzhou Daye's R&D and application of metal fiber materials.

In his speech, General Manager Huang Zhanjun of Guangdong Communication Institute, the supporting unit, emphasized that the application of new materials is a key path to promoting the improvement of quality and efficiency of highway projects. Deputy Director Luo Qi of the Science and Technology Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation pointed out in his speech that the technical research and development and achievement transformation of high-performance materials should be mainly promoted. These guiding directions are highly consistent with the technical development of Ganzhou Daye Metal Fiber. The copper-plated micro steel fiber series products developed by the company have been applied in projects such as the deck pavement of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, and their corrosion resistance is increased by 60% compared with traditional materials.

At present, the micro steel fiber series products independently developed by Ganzhou Daye have passed the ISO9001:2008 quality system certification and CE certification. After being tested by the National Metal Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, all indicators meet the requirements of domestic and international standards such as "Steel Fibers for Concrete YB/T151-2017". It has the characteristics of strong crack resistance and excellent durability, and has been successfully applied to key projects such as the road surface of the artificial island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the runway of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. As a participant in the formulation of industry standards, the company has also jointly compiled a number of technical regulations, such as "Basic Properties and Experimental Methods of Ultra High Performance Concrete", together with institutions like Tsinghua University.

Deputy Director Luo Qi of the Science and Technology Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation emphasized in his speech that the development of new productive forces requires the support of innovative materials such as micro steel fibers. As a member unit of the committee, Ganzhou Daye will continue to deepen the industry-university-research cooperation with units such as Guangdong Communication Institute, promote the standardized application of metal fiber materials in scenarios such as deck pavement and tunnel lining, and provide material guarantees for the construction of green and durable highway infrastructure.

This election is not only an affirmation of the technical strength of Ganzhou Daye, but also a new starting point. The company will take the professional committee as a platform, actively participate in the revision of standards such as the "Technical Specification for Fiber Reinforced Concrete Structures", promote the innovative application of micro steel fibers in fields such as UHPC ultra high performance concrete and prefabricated components, and contribute professional strength to the construction of a transportation power.
