IV. Continuously Empowering the Construction Industry and Facilitating High-Performance Infrastructure Upgrades

As relevant industry standards are further refined leading up to 2026, UHPC is poised for a wider range of applications. Ganzhou Daye will continue to lead by example as a governing member, deepening its commitment to the high-performance steel fiber sector. By providing professional technical support and stable product supplies, the company aims to serve key areas such as bridge reinforcement, super-high-rise construction, and prefabricated components.

Ganzhou Daye looks forward to forging ahead alongside the CCPA UHPC Industry Chain Coordination and Innovation Committee and its many partners, jointly writing a new chapter for China’s ultra-high-performance concrete industry.

Following the successful conclusion of the UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete) industry conference, a site visit was organized on the final day, taking attendees to key engineering projects in Changsha. This tour not only offered a valuable opportunity to witness cutting-edge UHPC applications firsthand but also showcased Changsha’s outstanding achievements in upgrading its new materials industry.

At the construction site of the northern extension of the Wanjiali Road expressway upgrade project, delegates inspected a 30-meter steel-UHPC composite beam bridge. As a pivotal node in Changsha’s expressway network, the project innovatively employed steel-UHPC composite beam technology. This novel structural design achieved a balance of lightweight construction and high load-bearing capacity while offering significant advantages in construction efficiency and environmental sustainability, marking the mature application of UHPC technology in municipal transportation infrastructure.

Subsequently, the delegation visited the office and R&D center of Zoomlion Smart Industrial City. As a global leader in equipment manufacturing, Zoomlion demonstrated the architectural aesthetics and superior performance of UHPC materials through the center's facade curtain wall project. From intricate joint designs to rigorous construction techniques, the project highlighted Zoomlion’s deep expertise in UHPC applications and its uncompromising commitment to high-quality engineering standards, setting an industry benchmark for the innovative use of UHPC in large-scale public architecture.

This site visit allowed attendees to witness the successful translation of UHPC technology from theory to practice and underscored the Changsha municipal government's strong emphasis on and forward-looking strategy for the UHPC industry. By developing a series of landmark projects—ranging from municipal transport infrastructure to iconic buildings—Changsha is actively building a UHPC industrial ecosystem and fostering the deep integration of intelligent construction and green building materials.

The visit was packed with substantial content; it broadened industry perspectives and provided invaluable insights for future technological innovation and engineering practice. Delegates expressed that they gained a great deal from the trip to Changsha and left with full confidence in the vast application potential of UHPC technology.
